For every figure from Onell Design there is usually an equal and opposite figure. Crayboth Grellanym is the flipside of Gryganull, a pink plastic figure with green highlights. The pair debuted a few months ago, and took center stage in a pretty fun flash game which I could best describe as a horizontally scrolling Space Invaders clone. It was pretty good, and if the figures weren't already on the way to selling out this would make them move a lot faster. They vanished quickly.
At this point you know the drill - specifically, these are great little figures with 4 swappable limbs and they date back nearly 5 years. There are dozens of varieties of them produced in runs numbering in the low hundreds, and tend to be fairly cheap on the secondary market. The trick is trying to spell the name correctly so you can find them. A complete set as of May of this year sold for $180, which actually seems rather cheap all things considered.
The vibrant green really pops, and the pink paint matches the pink plastic of Gryganull quite well. You can swap limbs (see above) to make matching-but-different variations on a theme, so you can make something that looks both different and like an intentionally released product. And good for you, if you can.
I kind of feel silly writing about all the Crayboth figures, but eh, why not? They're neat. I like them, they're cheap. Get some Crayboth figures, particularly if you liked Battle Beasts and other small 1980s figures. You're welcome.
