Returning to "TMNG," Onell Design surprised the heck out of me with Traveler Suraisu. A swirly green color knocks my socks off, with the various pads and bits coming in at a perfect brown. The torso works our perfectly as a shell, making this the only ninja Glyos figure you simply must have.
The standard 2 3/4-inch Pheyden tacks on the scarf - which we don't see much - to add a "beak" to the face of this old-school Mirage Studio tribute.
Unlike many of the other tributes, this seems like a pastiche of comic turtle coloring and not a specific toy. (Someone out there will undoubtedly prove me wrong.) The sword is new, and I believe is part of the new Toy Pizza crew's projects - a baggie of accessories was included with my order. I like the simple detailing, and Glyos figures without peg holes-for-fists can certainly benefit from more of this kind of accessory. It's a little loose, but it works perfectly with gravity holding it in.
I thought I had all the TMNG I needed, but this one looked too perfect. The new green and the weapon knock it out of the park, which is why we have to look at it again. It's certainly not a "need" toy, but if you see the textures up close and in person I can't imagine you not at least considering adding one of these to your toy shelves.
