Titanium Series Vehicles (2005 ) Note #1: With the exception of a gold giveaway X-wing, the entire 2005 lineup of Titanium were exclusive to Wal-Mart stores in the USA, and entirely Star Wars. The packaging is distinguished from the 2006 releases in that the 2005 ones were covered with tape on the backside, and the Star Wars logo was at the top and the Titanium Series logo appears beneath it. In 2006, these switched. Note #2: All of the original Trilogy-based vehicles in the 2005 collection were reissues of the 1995-1999 line of Galoob Die-Cast Metal MicroMachines with black stands in a new package with minimal changes. Of note, the copyright date was updated and all Titanium Star Wars toys include abbreviations to indicate the defunct Lewis Galoob Toy Company was involved-- despite no longer existing. Note #3: Several of the Wal-Mart exclusives were eventually released in slightly different packaging in 2006 to all stores.
Titanium Series Vehicles (2006, Wide Release) Note: A number of 2006 vehicles feature packaging variants in which the vehicle is repositioned. The Imperial Shuttle can be found head-on or top-down. The Clone Wars Republic Gunship can be found pointing up or down.
Star Wars 5-packs (2005+, )
Titanium Convention & Exclusive Items Note: In 2005, a gold X-wing was given to people who participated in a Hasbro Titanium Series focus group and to those who signed up for a HasbroToyShop.com promotion at Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis, IN. 500 were said to be produced. Later in 2005, we obtained a similar vehicle with no such markings in a sealed polybag from Hasbro. We have no idea how these were distributed but we have one in our official collection.
