Meet David Silva! You already know his work-for-hire with creatures from a number of big toy companies, like Hasbro and NECA. I've already got a bunch. We wrote a bit back and forth a long time ago, and I finally got to meet him and see his stuff on Preview Night. He's famous for his Beasts of the Mesozoic Kickstarter raptors, which are freaking gorgeous. His follow-up to the 1:6 scale killer feathered turkeys is a 1:12 line of Ceratopsians - that makes the latter scale to Marvel Legends, the One:12 Collective, and their ilk.

The Kickstarter for the Ceratopsians kicks off in September, and pricing is still being determined at this time - you might note that the animals are colored based on existing toys like Dino-Riders and other modern reptiles. Each figure is loaded with articulation and sports impressive detail.
I've been dragging my feet buying these because they weren't cheap - but man, these are wonderful. Each fine feathered friend is about $40-$50, with the babies running a smidgen cheaper.
