Nothing excites fans like new versions of old favorites, as Hasbro revealed with the 25th Anniversary Collection of G.I. Joe action figures. After reviving the brand every few years, this line went back-to-basics with old-timey packaging and more-or-less modern toymaking techniques.
While the line was initially announced to be roughly 25 action figures, the line's popularity soon caused it to grow very quickly. In 2007 alone, plans call for three boxed sets of five figures each, a convention exclusive (with variant), and 23 unique carded figures (plus variants).
