Greeting from Mouse Heaven! While not technically Toy Fair, I was invited for a visit with Mel Birnkrant and Gary Schaeffer to see some of the future of The Outer Space Men. The first look at toy samples and packaging for Orbitron were there for inspection, and here we all are looking at it.
Up close, it's pretty gorgeous. The soft vinyl is indeed soft, with swinging joints. Some of the early samples have an assembly error - the wrists are separate pieces, so the hands were swapped on a few of them. Also, the one based on the Onell Design Diversus Orbitron (a stunning Glyos toy you must own) was missing the paint application on the mouth. Will it be on the final? We shall see.

At least I've got a lot of reading I can do later.
