What can you say about the nameless (but I'm calling it) Traveler Stowaway Light Blue 2023 Pheyden that hasn't been said about other figures? It's colored just like Pheyden Prime and matches the Light Blue 2023 parts and pieces, with no paint other than the eyes. There's a subtle pink ring in each eye, which makes this figure a distant colorway cousin of Queen Kirallius [FOTD #2,186] from 2020.
There's nothing technically new about this 2 3/4-inch figure looks sort of like the typical Pheyden blue, but without the darker blue to offset it. There are no panel lines, but it turns out that doesn't matter. The deep cuts in the sculpt actually pop nicely with this particular hue of blue, thanks to how the shadows fall in the crevices.
The figure just looks cool - maybe you'll customize it, maybe it'll go in a box, or maybe you'll treasure it and keep it on a shelf. He has 12 points of articulation and can pop apart at each one. As always you can swap limbs with other Glyos-compatible figures, and maybe you'll want to with these stowaway figures. Me, I have to leave them as-is - the distinctive coloring is good, but I'm also more or less obsessive about not customizing my figures.
There are multiple blank (or partially blank) Pheyden figures out there - I don't think I ever got any of the completely unpainted ones. Looking on eBay as I write this, I see multiple blank blue ones - and none of this one. I have no idea if you can get it, or how many were made, or what - but I got this one, and I like it. I wouldn't say it's a crucial purchase, mostly because you have dozens of other blue Pheyden figures you can get, but it's a good one. Do I need it? Well, maybe. Maybe not. But the color combo turned out well and the pink eyes are striking enough that I'm not letting it go.
