Keep Making Mine Marvel! Just days before Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters, and you wouldn't really know it - rereleases of old 3 3/4-inch comic figures were on display but not a lot of movie newness. Marvel Legends and Titan Heroes look to be having a good year, with Target bringing back more Exclusive Titan Heroes gift sets. Before you whine, those things were big hits - and they're expensive on eBay. New entries this year include a swell Marvel Universe gift set for the kids with Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Armored Spider-Man, Thor, and Captain America. Joining them is an Ultimate Spider-Man set with Electro, Spidey, Venom, and Green Goblin. I won't lie to you - I want both of these.

The DeLorean Replicas are pretty hot stuff still, with the Time Machine being available in multiple flavors. My very biased opinion is that the Entertainment Earth Exclusive BTTF2 Time Machine is best, as it features hover conversion wheels, a Mr. Fusion, and a barcode license plate from that far-off distant year of 2015.
Other props like Marty Jr.'s futuristic color-changing hat were on display, and the video demos that quite nicely. I'm impressed! It's an older item, sure, but I don't think I saw one up-close and personal before SDCC 2014.
