A fan favorite for years, Grimlock comes in his instantly-recognizable dinosaur mode and is one of the most posable of this range of TransFormers.
Grimlock includes his helmet from "Grimlock's New Brain" and is posable at the neck, shoulders, hips, jaw, and knees. His tail, while removable, is not articulated.
Even though he sticks out like a sore thumb for not coming in his robot mode, Grimlock looks great. Decent paint makes the figure look like a 3D representation of the character as he appears on the TV show and movie, and well, if you like the dinobots, this is probably as good a toy that will be made of this character for some time.
His helmet fits nicely, although when assembled with the included cord, it cannot stay on his head without some added support. It's great to see an actual removable accessory included with one of these toys, however it seems an extra that just wasn't needed since Grimlock rarely ever interacts with anything in his dinosaur mode.
The clear version of the figure is the same figure with no paint except for a small white Autobot/Cybertron logo on his chest.
