Playskool! Hasbro's post-toddler category is dubbed "pre-cool" internally, and covers such disparate entities as Star Wars, Marvel, and Transformers Rescue Bots. A BB-8 Base Playset goes form a cute robot to an unfolded battle station, complete with a crow's nest in his head and guns all over the place. It's pretty great.

A little bit more was on display with more on the way - as is the way of these things. The kiddie brands don't get a lot of love at collector events, presumably because of the renewed interest in giving fans more time to get pictures and question time with the creative and marketing teams. Oh, you should have been there.
