Best vinyl in the business! You may disagree, but the bobble head specialists at Funko have really gone nuts with vinyl since the debut of what became Pop! Heroes vinyl toys last year. At about ten bucks a whack, their portfolio now includes Star Wars Gremlins, Marvel, and even a special line presently sold at Disney stores. (Pixar, classic Disney, and Nightmare Before Christmas. No Scrooge or Emperor's New Groove yet.)
Their booth was primarily exclusives and you can see the bulk of them below. Most were metallic or glow-in-the-dark repaints of new or existing products, plus some jumbo figures, a bronze Cthulhu bobble head, and some flocked figures including Chewbacca and Gizmo from Gremlins. Many of these were limited to a tiny 480 pieces and they had a ton of different items.
Following Pop vinyl is their new Blox line, which has flatter figures based on (so far) Batman and the monster cereal mascots like Count Chocula and Boo Berry. Metallic versions of these debuted at the show, with normal editions due later this year. As unique licenses and characters go, Funko has one of the best portfolios in the business these days. I know some of you don't care for bobble heads, but be sure to look at these and try to tell me these aren't dang cool. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next, and I'll have reviews of some of these items up in the coming days.
