Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA July 21-24, 2011
Stay cool, my babies! Comic-Con booth space is at an increasing premium these days, so an increasing amount of companies are taking their business elsewhere-- off-site, for free. If you walked around downtown San Diego on the way to dinner or a press event, you might have seen a Flaming C art installation from TBS. In the door was a life-size replica of the quasi-DC Superhero in a storefront window with tons and tons of art inside.
Posters, flyers, and buttons were distributed and fans could wait in a line to be green-screened into a Flaming C photo. Due to time constraints, we were not able to do this (nor could we get the gallery shots from inside the area with the green screen) but here you can find questionable photographs of about 85% of the offerings from various artists.
