Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA July 21-24, 2011
From Japan to you! Kotobukiya is largely known for its statues (or model kits, whatever) but the company has a fair amount of housewares as well. Star Wars ice cube trays in the form of R2-D2 and Carbonite blocks were displayed in a giant ice cube-themed Carbonite display, and numerous new Star Wars statues were shown as well. An unpainted Yoda was one of the most impressive pieces at the entire show, so be sure you check that out./p>
While Gentle Giant had a lot for Marvel, that didn't prevent Koto from doing quite a bit. A series of X-Force Statues and a set of the Avengers really stood out nicely.
