Ghostbusters! Some - not all - of what we're getting this year was on display. A new movie-based high-end "Plasma Series" Neutrona Wand was introduced by directors Jason and Ivan Reitman on stage before our gallery tour, and it's loaded with lights, sounds, and a pop-out tip that is indeed happy to see you. Lower-end kid roleplay accessories were also shown, as were action figures, vehicles, and slime. And a weathered old Apple computer, which warmed my old crusty heart.

$10 "Fright Features" figures, a $25 Ecto-1 vehicle, and a ton of ghosts make what appears to be the best kiddie line for this franchise in years. For older fans, the redundant-but-unquestionably-impressive Plasma Series line lets you build a Terror Dog when you buy 6-inch photo-real super-articulated Dana Barrett, Zuul, Winston, Peter, Egon, and Ray. There are loads of cool accessories and amazing portraits to enjoy here, so if you've been on the fence about buying these because Diamond or Mattel did such a good job, you may wish to consider the purchase. No future waves are known at this time.
