Mattel doesn't mention She-Ra or any Princess of Power on the packaging for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Cartoon Collection, probably to make sure Shadow Weaver sells to He-Man fans who would be embarrassed about buying "girl toys." It's a weird thing to have shame about buying toys but it comes up a bit in collector spaces, as some people see their plastic people as collectibles or whatever and can't just have a good time. It's a shame, their life could be better.
Mattel made a great Masters of the Universe Classics Shadow Weaver [FOTD #360] way back in 2012 as a subscriber bonus figure, and it was super exciting! Super7 would go on to make a Filmation version in both the Classics scale and its retro line, plus another ReAction figure too. Mattel is now revisiting Doodles Shadow Weaver in a faux-retro style, as one of figures with what seems to be completely new tooling. They also made her in Masterverse a couple of years back, and that turned out pretty well too.

Standing at about 5 1/2-inches tall, she doesn't have any legs. Her dress is hollow, and there's a plug underneath that can fit Cartoon Collection Orko's stand. (No stand is included.) The figure can split apart at the waist. Super7 made their "Classics" figure split just under the bust, which gives the figure a cleaner silhouette. Her arms are jointed like most figures in this line. The elbows, shoulders, and wrists all bend and swivel. The neck is jointed, and there's a cape.
While a lot of new parts, there's not a lot of paint here - Mattel may have made her cheaply. There's a painted Horde symbol over hair waist, her shadowy face and eyes are painted, and that's it. The hands are molded in color with no nails, and other than some sort of overspray for detail there's no reason to even consider painting her. The results are good - she fits well with the other saturated action figures in this line. She fits great on Orko's stand, and has no problems standing on her relatively wide lamp base of a body. Mattel delivered more or less what one might expect here. Their previous figure had a unileg for possible vehicle access, but let's be honest, she doesn't need it. There haven't been any Horde vehicles in this line yet.
The Dark Mistress of Magic has two accessories. A magic wand is molded in gray with a few painted black bands, closely matching Super7's retro figure. The Book of Spells also matches her first Mattel release, except this one is open and you can see some pages. Mattel did a great job, molding the cover in green and the pages in white. The printing is sharp and crisp, with cleanly painted black and gold details on the green cover. She can hold both accessories without much difficulty.
Depending on your Shadow Weaver stash, I'd recommend her. She's good, but not necessarily as good as the previous excellent figures... but she's the one I'm going to have out on display. I like the colors and the simplicity, there are no parts to lose, and this is more or less how I remember her looking. The internet remembers her more like the recent (excellent) Netflix remake She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and as far as I know there are no officially licensed Shadow Weaver dolls or figures from that series. That's a shame! It's a really wonderful show. If you like it old-school, this is a good figure for the price.
If you're collecting this particular flavor of figures, The Cartoon Collection has a pretty robust (but not as robust as Classics representation of the 1980s Horde. In addition to Sigourney Shadow Weaver, Mattel has made Catra, Grizzlor, Hordak, Mantenna, Leech, and Vultak. For Mattel Origins-scaled figures, this is the only Shadow Weaver so far.
