One of the figures from the most anticipated movie of 2001, the Witch King Ringwraith is a giant black pile of robed evil.
The Ringwraith includes a dagger, a sword, and is jointed in 13 places.
A giant pile of faceless robed plastic, this figure is something really special. We at 16bit.com are belivers that the figure's personality comes from its pose and face, and since this figure has no face, the sculptors had a lot of work to do. And they did a lot of work-- the cloth patterns are quite realistic, the armored gloves and legs turned out well, and there's a series of joints they put in that are more or less worthless because they're covered in plastic robes.
One of the more notable things about Toy Biz' stab at LOTR figures is that most if not all include a button-activated action mechanism. The stab-action gimmick works, but the robes on our sample tend to rub together, restricting movement.
The sword is just a nice looking sword. The dagger, though, has a spring-loaded tip so it can "stab" other figures. Nice touch. There are sheaths for both on the figure.
