Wacky Wobblers and the Rest! What's kind of funny is that ten years ago, Funko was known primarily for their colorful bobble heads based on popular classic cartoon characters. They still make some of these, but they aren't as plentiful as their other categories. New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Big Lebowski. After the success of Pop! Vinyl and the Hikari Vinyl Figures, we're seeing new stuff in Vinyl Vixens for DC Comics as well as an Aardman-like Vinyl Idolz plus Dorbz, all of which draw inspiration from figural and animation styles around the world. And they're going to be pretty cheap, many of which are around $10-$30.

The Vinyl Idolz are particularly strong right out the gate, with Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Napoleon Dynamite, and Seinfeld already on deck. Also nifty is the Super7 Boba Fett Super Shogun figure - apparently this dang thing is actually, really, finally going to come out! And so is a black Shadow Stormtrooper. For figural collecting Funko continues to bring a lot new to the table each year, so it's worthwhile to continue to keep your eye on them.
