New York's American International Toy Fair February 14, 2015
Star Wars! I won't lie to you - it wasn't a big showing. Most of the action figures were revealed last year, but now we see Galactic Heroes are "back" as a rebranding of Jedi Force. New molds and playlets are coming, so that's exciting. A customizable buildable lightsaber system is also on deck with some pretty amazing configurations as well as an optional foam blade for whomping on people. I hit myself with it pretty hard, and I can confirm that it does hurt in prototype form.

Clearly Hasbro's big deal right now is Furbacca, the Furby Chewbacca. The video pretty much says it all.

As far as I can tell licensors will not discuss anything about Episode VII - names, even the release date for the product. Those have all leaked, but people seem to be in fear of an untimely death so nobody has much to say there just yet. As such, it'll probably be light for news until the next big convention but there are a lot of new figures stuck on the ships at sea, so at least you will have newness to buy very soon. Maybe.
