Polyphony! They're new to me. They've been in China for a few years, and their focus is pretty unusual. I was walking by and saw some really good Garbage Pail Kids figures - blind boxes, and a giant Adam Bomb. Then I started looking closer and saw a roll-your-own business card stamp station as well as designer vinyl, licensed Garbage Pail Kids and My Pet Monster, plus toys based on 1960s vinyl. Some were old unreleased sculpts! If you do kewpies, this might be right up your alley.

I was not familiar with Osamu Goods - a Japanese 1960s bag maker - which apparently was all the rage. They're doing vinyl figures, tiny bags, and puzzles based on the vintage graphic design. They have a web page in Japan showing off stuff, but these are not the same things Polyphony is doing. I don't usually get to hear about big brands that were off my radar, so this was really interesting - especially after I realized I misheard the company's very patient rep as to the name of the license, hours later. This is what happens when you're old and uninformed, kids, I advise you avoid being either.
Take a look - there are some neat items. Urban vinyl fans will see some original concepts in here, next to licenses like Wendy the Good Little Witch. Their new product offerings look like you fell into an amazing time warp, and I'm excited to see more from them.
