From the The Council of Travelers comes Neo Legion Pheyden, a metallic blue redeco with a scarf accessory. As the name may hint, it's very similar to an older toy called Legion Pheyden which (the pictures tell me) was a metallic blue figure with purple arms and legs. This one is a single color throughout.
Since it's been a while since the world could buy metallic blue figures, Neo Legion Pheyden was just one of several releases in this unique color. A matching Gobon, Glyan (Neo Sincroid), Buildman, and Phaseon came out the same day, as well as Axis Joints, Gobon Blasters, and a Hub Set.
That's a lot of blue.
So nobody can repurpose this head as a real Legion Pheyden, the figure now has mostly black eyes with red and white in the center, a contrast from the mostly white eyes of the original. The added scarf completely changes the personality of the figure, with his dark eyes peeking out sort of like a ninja. A blue alien space ninja, but still, ninja-esque.
The figure sold out in minutes, and included no bonus or variant heads. (An Extra Set with a Sarvos head, torso, Phanost head, and Scar Pheyden head was sold separately.) For bang for the buck, it's not as exciting as a few of the other multi-headed figures in the drop, but it looks a lot more like Classic Pheyden than other releases as of late and for newcomers, that was probably a big plus. Big bonus points to Onell Design for including the scarf accessory to alter his look dramatically, otherwise it'd be just another (admittedly cool) Pheyden redeco. It's fun, I like it.
