In 2013 we saw Glyos (especially Onell Design) meet and raise expectations of what you can do, often just with deco. Callgrim's Fragrarian figure manages to Out-Strawberry a certain Ms. Shortcake, while the Mordireus Sarvos out-pinks Barbie. If you've ever wondered if it were possible to make a figure so pink it goes around and becomes manly again, yeah, this is that figure.
A largely unpainted figure, this white-eyed creature appears in an online comic and doesn't get to do a whole heck of a lot other than stand around and look pretty. It's all about the color of plastic here, and seeing it in person is a different experience from seeing a photo. It's super-bright pink, of course, but just how bright is tough to capture in pixels. If you're a kid of the 1990s who remembers the first time you saw the clear neon green LEGO pieces in M-Tron and Blacktron II, it's sort of like that.
As with many previous Sarvos figures, the toy includes a spare Scar Pheyden head and sports a total of 14 configurable plastic parts. Each piece pops off at the joint, so you can swap arms, legs, feet, and other bits to your liking. The Sarvos figure includes a hole in the back of his torso for storage of other parts (like an alternate head) if you're so inclined.
The figure sold out in minutes, so you can't buy one easily. My order included an alternate baggie with a Pheyden head and a Pheyden torso, so I don't know if this was a common bonus piece or what. It wasn't advertised, nor was it paid for. (I'll be looking at it as a separate piece/add-on later.) I really dig this figure, and I'm currently keeping the Sarvos head on the body over the Scar Pheyden head. (Usually Scar Pheyden wins out.) If by some miracle you stumble on this figure for its issue price, buy it.
