Overview
Psycho Orb is a Destron warrior in the TransFormers Robot Masters line of toys from Takara. Released only in Japan, this toy includes two weapons that are formed from his feet and a clear green shield, the latter of which is available only in this set.
Psycho Orb was previously sold as Armordillo in the USA and Japan during Beast Wars, and was recolored again during Beast Wars Neo and renamed Bump. The previous releases were Maximals/Cybertrons, and this is the first Destron release of this mold.
To distinguish this figure from other releases, Psycho Orb is now molded in a dark brown color with metallic highlights. Previous versions were red or brown.
Packaging
This toy came packaged in regular Robot Masters packaging, which is fairly intricate. Inside a box, there's a couple of plastic inserts and twist ties to hold the figure and its weaponry in place.
Like all Robot Masters, the set includes Generation One-styled TransFormers logos as well as faction symbols similar to that era.
