Spy Monkey Creations has a pretty good history of supplying products for Glyos collectors as well as compatible weapons for Masters of the Universe Classics, with Weaponeers of Monkaa being something of a crossover. The Cold Steel Close Combat Armory took a while to sell down, but being pretty cool and cheap it eventually blew out. I ordered a packet of the weapons with the first batch of figures and generally dig them, although I didn't do much with them until recently. If you're a big fan of Battle Beasts, this is how you get weapons for your Armorvors.
You get about 14 pieces, including grips, blades, and switch pins to arm your figures. Two pieces act as "adapters" to better fit in the hands of Mattel's 6-inch scale action figures, while the blades tend to plug snuggly in the fist of most Glyos action figures (with the notable exception of Travelers like Pheyden, Sarvos, and those who share that body type as well as Outer Space Men.) Guns and blades are a basic human right when it comes to action figures, so having access to such gear really does help flesh out displays if you're in to that sort of thing - and the silver color is a really good fit, given the kind of weapons we're seeing.
None of them stand out as exceptional, but that's what you want - an accessory that adds to the figure without overwhelming it. (Well, maybe if it's really crazy.) The designs are clean and simple, with some nice variation on all the blades so you can choose between knives, swords, and other dagger-like implements of destruction. Maybe your Gobon doesn't need a knife, but perhaps it really does. Give it a shot, I'm saying.
For three bucks this set is an absolute bargain. If you could walk into a shop and buy this, you totally should... particularly if you collect Glyos and Mattel's action figure lines. I would argue that Masters of the Universe Classics really doesn't need more weapons as of late, but these are nice little upgrades that are pretty fun. Plus it always seemed to me the only thing the Armorvor was really lacking was a 1987-style Battle Beasts weapon, and now I've got a big supply of them, so that's a good thing. Silver is sold out at press time, and I hope they run more someday because this is probably the color you'd want the most.
