I started taking pictures of the unnamed freebie Versirran Crayboth back in 2012, with another batch in 2023, but never wrote the review. As far as I can tell there's no Glyos Wiki page for the "stowaways," the free figures Matt Doughty sometimes includes in shipments at no cost to remind you that you should always order something. Back in 2012, the Crayboth had been around for roughly four year and this guy was the 17th little critter in the line - so I had the wild idea that I would be all-in on Crays and complete the set. A few years later, I realized that was unlikely - and now we're up to hundreds of the little guys. They're all great, and with so many crossovers and freebies and promo figures that very few people are going to have them all. Cappy Space has a checklist which was last updated around 2023 and it is worth noting that a lot of these guys a) look similar and b) have no names elsewhere. If It weren't for documentation like this, I assume there would be no record anywhere of just how many of these guys were made over the years.

This unpainted freebie looks amazing, especially in the right light. The swirly blue plastic was also used to make Versirran Pheyden [FOTD #2,547]. I believe it was also used for Outer Space Men 2.0 Xodiac [FOTD #711], a figure worth rerunning if ever there was one. They all seem to have the same shiny plastic that brings out a lot of detail, although Xodiac's is largely covered in paint.

The little guy has four joints and can pop apart at each one. The arms and legs are swappable, but I like it as it is. The blue plastic shows off enough detail that you don't miss the paint, and the distinctive design still looks like a drawing sprang to life. He's sized to fight your Battle Beasts and Defender-sized Blokees figures, and was one of the smallest Glyos figures of any kind until the last few years. There are also at least four metallic blue versions of him - and it's really hard to tell which is which unless you have others to compare him against. Good luck there. They tend to be inexpensive when they pop up for sale, and I assume these were produced in the low hundreds.
I wouldn't necessarily say this is the must-own Crayboth for the ages, but gosh it is pretty. There are new ones fairly regularly, so you can probably score some version of it from the Onell Design shop within the next year if you don't want to pay around $5-$10 for a random color on eBay. I have so many of these guys I could probably show off a unique one every week for a year or more, but you start to run out of things to say about the figure and just start focusing on color or context. I've got more of these guys to show off, and I'll probably swing back to another one soon - but we've got a lot of other partially finished photo shoots and reviews to get up too. I can't say a heck of a lot about this specific guy - but now you can see it, you now know it exists! Someone should make a Glyos Wiki page for it.
