Marvel! Apparently "Universe" isn't quite dead after all, with Death's Head II finally making an appearance after a couple of years of delay. Thor, Captain America, and others will be in the mix but hey - new guys! That's exciting.

The Marvel Legends line didn't have much new up to see, but Titan Heroes will be expanded due to the initial line's runaway success. While maligned by collectors, the big 12-inch figures proved popular at $10 in American retail stores. Multiple new paint jobs will grace Spider-Man, as with Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. Falcon will also make an appearance.
A series of comic-inspired Super Hero Mashers will continue the popular stylized format, and will team up with Transformers characters too. Some of these are in stores now, with others expected throughout the year. As usual, the movies will drive the toy narrative with a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man product. Of course, the bulk of Spider-Man and Captain America are in stores now, so it might be a while before you kids see anything truly new on the shelves.
