I'm quite fond of The Bravest Warriors which is why I bought an Impossibear for a certain special someone - and I'm showing it to you too. For those unfamiliar with the show, it's populated by a large amount of bizarre creatures. Impossibear shows up to basically hit people and yell. He's great. I strongly suggest watching the episode "Gas Powered Stick" on YouTube and then watching the rest of the series. He's basically the same size as the rest of the line with a jointed head.
The figure format runs counter to the show design, in that he's basically an egg with little noodle limbs. The figure has a big head which carries the color-fade design from an orange head to blueish green feet. Arguably a one-piece body like Tuxedo Sam might have been good, but this is nice too - unless you're looking at control art of the character, Impossibear really does look and feel like Impossibear. Much like Catbug, the inclusion of the show-specific mouth and teeth really helps sell the connection to the show designs despite the form of the character changing rather drastically. He's also holding his gas-powered stick ("never runs outta gas") in a non-articulated limb.
The good (and bad) thing about this line from Funko is that is basically now the figure line of record. 20 years from now people will look at this and see a ton of characters, shows, and movies referenced here as a sort of plastic fossil record for Internet fads and pop culture. I can only imagine what it will be like to look in the Unofficial Guide to Pop! Vinyl iBook down the road and see all this great stuff that I maybe never watched. Thankfully these guys are included, which shows a sort of critical mass for popularity and acceptance. Thanks to the still growing internet video market there are lots of people who don't know about the show, so you might be left going "who cares?" Well, watch the show, and you will.
