Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder . I didn't like the shirtless Shredder as a kid and I didn't wind up buying Toon Shredder, so this seemed like a reason to get one.
The big figure is built on the same template as the others. You can see the guts for a neck and articulated legs are there, but both are frozen in place by new internal parts and glue. Shoulders and wrists still rotate mostly freely, with the nifty silver shredding bits embedded to the arms. They're pointy and hard plastic, which was a surprise as I expected them to feel flexible and rubbery. The finish is silver, and it almost looks like a mirrored finish.
The helmet looks like it sports a mirrored finish - or as close to it as silver paint can provide - with a decent replica of the cartoon's costume. The mask is there, he has "evil" eyebrows, and the purple cape seems non-removable. I dig the added shredding bits on the shins, but they really do make a lot less sense now that I look at the costume as an adult.]
Ghostbusters and Dreamworks properties - but Funko gave us a tantalizing look at "what if?" when it came to the green teens, Doctor Who, and precious few others. While not a toy and not a statue, these "collectble figures" are a real desk toy because they stand well and don't do much. Your kid probably wouldn't enjoy playing with a pointy silver ninja man with stiff joints, but this might be right up your alley as an adult fan. This toy isn't a classic 6-inch "Legends"y Shredder, but it's a fine figure unto itself. Since the price at press time is pretty cheap, it's probably in your best interests to pick one up sooner than later.
