The last of the Mattel figures to be introduced in the Playmates line, Bartman is a colorful, dynamic representation of the character.
Bartman comes with five accessories (three comic books, a rocket, and a slingshot) and has four points of articulation with a cape that can be moved, but not removed.
Bartman is, like most Bart figures, more or less based on the same mold as the first figure. His arms aren't in the same position, and the head is new, but otherwise it looks similar to the original. The colors, however, are much more vibrant and the overall look of the figure is just great! The face sculpt is totally new, with the mask being sculpted to look like a mask is on the figure and not just some purple paint. While Bart rehashes tend to sit around and rot in stores, this one looks like a real improvement. It's well worth owning.
Like every carded Bart to date, Bartman includes a slingshot. He also includes three comic books. So far, the covers are different than any of the other ones issued with other figures, so that's a nice bonus... although our sample had the stickers nearly falling off the books as of the time we opened it. Less notable is the same rocket that was included with Ralph.
