Easily one of the highlights of this set, Christmas Homer does not fail to deliver an original, nifty, and awesome figure.
Homer comes with no accessories and has four points of articulation. He is packaged with the Family Christmas Gift Set.
Other than the traditional reuse of an existing Homer head, the figure is almost entirely new. The arms are definitely based on those of Sunday Best Homer, but it's not obvious. The detail is there, although it does look a little flat in spots. The boots are shiny, the fur is, well, also shiny, and the figure looks pretty much exactly like you'd expect. No surprises, no disappointments.
This is a figure that could have scored some real bonus points with one or two accessories. A Santa's cap or a beard would've made this figure gold, but unfortunately none of the figures in this set have any such extras. Still, it's a solid figure.
16bit.com would also like to note that none of the Family Christmas figures have any copyright information on them, but the playset does. Interesting, no?
