The first proof that The Playmates Simpsons line was on fire, Pin Pal Burns (Toyfare) offered a popular character and severe headaches to die-hard fans.
Burns comes with two accessories (bowling ball, bowling bag) and has four points of articulation.
The figure itself is partially new components with some old ones modified to make a new figure. The head is, of course, nothing new but the body appears to be different, as do the arms. The legs appear to be modified from the original Mr. Burns figure.
The gear is nothing special. The same ball included with Pin Pal Homer and Apu is here, but without any special monogram. The bowling bag came with Pin Pal Homer, but it seems to be missing the silver trim. Surprisingly, it actually looks a little better.
This figure is said to be made in a quantity near 15,000 pieces (3,000 online, 12,000 via the magazine) and it was originally offered in ToyFare #46 and on the Wizard World website.
