At home with America's favorite post-modern stone age family, The Living Room Playset turned out to be the little slice of dysfuncitonal suburbia needed for any toy room.
The Living Room Playset comes with two talking figures, Maggie and Marge, as well as a few accessories including a TV set.
The sculpt of the playset is great. It's painted well, and just looks all-around excellent, if a little small. The electronics allowing the toys to talk were well made and sound great, and the price of the toy is pretty good for what you get. That said, it doesn't do a damn thing. You can look at it. That's it. And it makes noises. It's a great display environment for the figures, but anybody looking for a feature-laden playset should keep looking.
The accessories are great. A TV and two action figures round out a nice looking environment, the only thing that would make it better would be if a version of Homer or anybody existed that had the ability to sit on the couch. Anybody looking for a good arena to display some figures would be hard pressed to find something more Simpsons-y than their living room, although anyone looking to cram more than the 5 memebers of the family into it might be disappointed.
