Four Horsemen Outer Space Men - Customs February 10, 2012
DIY OSM! A big theme of the show was customization, with a four-figure set of exclusives designed by series creator Mel Birnkrant leading the pack. In addition to that quartet, dozens of Custom Outer Space Men and Glyos figures were on display, many of which were designed by famous names in the toy business. Jesse Moore, Matt Doughty, Nicole Falk, the Sucklord, Joe Amaro, and "Pixel Dan" were just some of the people who contributed some really amazing stuff, and even my ol' pal Seth Longmire had a few figures on display.
Highlights include: Major Matt Mason, He-Man ("The Man from Eternia"), and an awesome Kermit/Pigs In Space mashup at the top of this article. I also really liked the fuzze Canne'Nautilus from the Bah'Glenn, also known as Christopher Negri. Sadly, I was not able to steal it in a timely manner, so I have to hope he'll just make more.
