Go ninja, go ninja, go! One of the most popular pages last year was LEGO Ninjago, and from the comments I'm assuming it was because kids found the page and liked it. Hi, kids! I was once like you-- I loved ninjas and toy figures, and look at me now! Now I DRIVE the bus! Anyway. Welcome, and thanks for reading. Also know that, statistically, about 2 of you will be gunning for my job in 10 years. You cannot have it.
Last year, the Ninjago crew of Zane and Cole and the rest did battle with a gang of the undead. Skeletons and other ghouls were armed to spin and fight, and this year? Snakes. Lots of newly tooled parts include freaky reptilian warriors in numerous shapes and sizes. One even has two heads! There are more training playsets, new lower price points with figures in foil pouches, and the return of the absurdly expensive $10 spinner sets. I just don't get those.
If you like little animal figures, these are some of the best recent releases. You know, since Diamond still won't show Battle Beasts. I'd suggest giving these a look if you're a fan of 1980s-style toys.
