This Series 5 Defender Viewfinder looks a lot like the generic Reflector bot from the original cartoon (with the lens, of course.) It also takes cues in its bluer-than-purple coloring from a Siege 3-pack that matches pretty closely. Most fans will just see this guy and go "Oh, Reflector!" and call it a day - but there's still room for cartoon colors, or a variant torso without the lens, or the other toy-color guys.
As always, the figure captures the general essence of the toys and characters without being a perfect recreation. You don't get the Siege toy's kibble bits, but you do get the 3-pack version's colors. You get a perfectly nice blaster, good articulation, and color that borrows the little green on the knees from the cartoon. Articulation is right up there with the rest of the Defender toys, and the textured (and painted) chest looks quite nice. Blokees also gave this guy a forehead reduction, which I think looks a little more like the cartoon.
I don't have much to gush over here, other than to say "hey, I like the colors they picked!" It's a good little robot, but it's hard to pick out elements as being particularly exceptional. They did a good job, and the price is more than fair for what you get.
