More minis! This set of Masters of the Universe M.U.S.C.L.E. gets you Flesh Battle Armor Skeletor, Clawful, and Zodac. Skeletor was released with the Roton [FOTD #1,877], but the other two are exclusive for this set.
Since he's not too different, it's worth noting Battle Armor Skeletor has his sword and famous face-changing armor. The chest symbol changes on the action figure, but this one just stays put. He's got a big bone head and large hands, with a left hand posed somewhat oddly. It looks decent in the vehicle, and the proportions feel right. The figure is sturdy and has no problems standing, making it a pretty good figure.
The Clawful figure has a giant claw. Giant. It's as big as his torso, yet it doesn't cause the figure to topple over. That's some good sculpting. The figure resembles the original toy the most, albeit with downplayed eyebrows. Beefy arms and a shelled back remain, with the three-clawed feet and furry briefs. The face seems a bit closer to later incarnations, as the front lips are open a bit. He's not exactly Mr. Underbite, and it makes for a sharper figure overall. The face is expressive and clear, with big eyes and a charming snout. This is a really good one.
Supposedly neither good nor bad, Switzerland's own Zodac exists to even the playing field - although he's generally a good guy. Based on the original figure, he has his blaster, helmet, armor, and similar feet to Clawful. His blaster points up and he has two big fists for punching - even the blaster fist is convincingly punchy. Traces of his gloves are visible on the back of the arms, as the lack of color make some of the original sculpted details a little tough to see. But they're there! I really like this one, too.
This may be one of the best three-packs in the entire range, and I can see them ending the line with this pack. A few series one figures could benefit from resculpting, but there aren't many main characters left to make outside those which were more significant in the cartoons, like Cringer or King Randor. If it ends at series three, it was a great line. If it keeps going, I'll be excited to see how.
