New York's American International Toy Fair February 23, 2011
Powering comic shops worldwide! While they have their own manufacturing arm, Diamond Distribution's booth at Toy Fair showed off everything that they carry and they carry everything. The company has been distributing actual comic books to actual comic shops for years, plus magazines, trading cards, some toys, collectibles, and other goodies. Think of them as the invisible nerd version of Hallmark.
While most of the stuff they showed off you've seen (but I shot anyway), I was really excited to see the Playmates Family Guy line which seems to be replicating the World of Springfield line of The Simpsons right down to the articulation and talking features. However they're going to be more expensive, so you can thank inflation for that.
