New York's American International Toy Fair February 26, 2011
And here's some more stuff! I saw a booth distributing Nintendo capsule toys that I just had to shoot, with little figures from Mario and Zelda titles as well as other knickknacks. Sorry about the pictures, but there's only so much you can do with a glass case on the way to another meeting.
The costumes presented here are from Elope, an up-and-comer in the Halloween Costume segment. They're doing some really nice, high-quality stuff including Dumb & Dumber-esque suits, Spy vs. Spy (pictured), high-end KISS boots and costumes, and they just bought some company that makes tiaras and stuff-- and it's darned close to some of your favorite super heroes, only higher quality and cheaper. Just... well, it's all very close to the real deal and they're getting new licenses all the time. Keep an eye on these guys, greatness can be seen here.
The last batch of images are BanDai Japan imports from Bluefin, and you can see Rockman, Gundam, Mazinger, and more. The shots I took of Dragonball apparently didn't make the cut, there was a really cool Goku kit where the muscles on his arms moved when you posed him. I was really impressed.
