The World Is Square! Since deciding to make their own stuff, Square-Enix branched out to license other companies' characters meaning that you can now get Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid or any of a number of characters from the massive Halo franchise. Squeenix seems bent on big, highly-articulated figures at or above $40, which is pretty good for what you get.
A number of prototypes were on display, including Street Fighter IV characters like Chun-Li and Ryu. While unpainted, these grey models do a good job showing where the articulation should go. There's even a pretty swell statue from Bleach in there, so it seems Square-Enix is really looking to dominate the middle- to high-end figure collectible market in Japan for video game and certain anime characters. Here's hoping they make nice with Nintendo and license Metroid.
