LEGO City, one of LEGO's most popular themes! This year the LEGO City gets a big expansion with the token Police expansions, including a number of boats-- many of which will actually float, unlike the new Pirates line. The Police Minifigure Collection is pretty neat for the money-- some cops, a dog, a crook, and an ATM with a crowbar. This should be a fun set.
A return to realistic space travel comes with the LEGO City Spaceport which spans numerous sets. A Space Moon Buggy is only five bucks, while a decent sized Space Shuttle should be delightful for kids of all ages without breaking the bank. That's what the Space Centre should do at closer to $70.
A new Advent Calendar isn't as weird as the last one, which had Santa showering without his clothes on. This one is far more normal, featuring safecrackers, ice fisherman, and what appears to be a police station and a snowmobile. Hunh. That is pretty weird, isn't it?
Rounding out city in 2011 is a Marina theme with all sorts of boats and docks. A surfer is included in one of the larger sets, as are sharks and other goodies.
