New York's American International Toy Fair February 11, 2013
Yum yum! Since BanDai and Namco merged, it only makes sense that they would collaborate to put Pac-Man out on the market again. A new cartoon is slated for Disney XD called Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and will span dozens of CG-animated episodes where your little yellow friend is a youthful chosen one chasing down ghosts. Toys shown included mini-figures, action figures, battling top figures, and animatronic toys.

While there are a few nods to the classic games, beyond the character designs there's not a lot recalling the classic pixel characters. Of note are blind-bagged mini-figures, including glow-in-the-dark chase figures packaged in green slime. Why green slime? Honestly, I couldn't tell you. But they're here!

These toys should start showing up around the fall, with the TV Games Pac-Man set being available right now.
