New York's American International Toy Fair February 11, 2013
Go Go Power Rangers! Celebrating a new series and the mind-boggling 20th anniversary of this non-stop toy line, BanDai's Power Rangers booth had a lot of red, a lot of trading cards, and a few retro toys for your enjoyment. Of particular note was a 20th anniversary die-cast Megazord dating back to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers days, which is joined by a nifty die-cast Power Morpher. Classic Rangers are salted in throughout the line, from mini-figures to action figures. There's also a ton of new stuff from Power Rangers Megaforce, including a fairly vast push toward trading cards and a trading card game. (Pics of all of this can be seen below.)

Some of the new Megaforce figures have gold faces which pop out of the chest when the chest panels fold back. It's a pretty nifty mechanism, sadly we did not get a quality video of it to share with you.

While facing some stiff competition from the next coming of the green teens, it seems Power Rangers has a massive push for 2013 ranging from stuff for kids to classic, higher-end toys from the Tamashii Nations imprint which will be imported by Bluefin. Mega Blocks also had a fairly robust showing for Power Rangers, but we were unable to get photos of that line.
