Holy Plastic Action Figure, Batman! Arguably the Holiest of Grails when it comes to DC's archives, Batman as seen in the 1960s TV show is finally, once and for all, getting an actual 6-inch scale action figure line complete with a George Barris-inspired Batmobile.
Several figures were shown, but Batman himself fell to pieces when we walked by the prototype and we were unable to get a good shot of the hero figure of the line. Ol' pointy ears will be available individually, or with Robin (Burt Ward) in a 2-pack with a "wall-climbing" display stand which may hang on the wall or lay flat on a shelf. Nice!

Other characters in this line were Batman with a surf board and board shorts, The Riddler as channeled by Frank Gorshin, The Penguin via Burgess Meredith, and more. Barbie as Catwoman and Ken as Batman dolls were also on display.
Not shown (but confirmed) was The Joker, who Scott "ToyGuru" Neitlich confirmed as having a sculpted, painted-over mustache on his face just like on the original movie and TV show. Wonderful! Now, can a Blu-Ray release of that original series be far behind?
