More Mutants! Arguably a good sibling to Legends of Chima, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are joining damn near everything else in popular culture as LEGO sets. That's the good news. The bad news? Not much new was shown beyond existing kits.

I really don't have a read yet on how the green teens are doing as brick figures compared to Playmates' nearly immortal action figures, but it seems early reactions are positive.

No one set contains all four turtles, but there aren't all that many sets - about six, plus promotional figures which you won't be buying anyway. Will future sets expand beyond the Nick show, or might there be a video game in the future? I sure as heck hope so. A LEGO TMNT Xbox game really sounds like a fantastic way to spend a weekend.
