Game Over, Man! In the 1990s, Kenner gave us a satisfactory and weird ALIENS action figure line based loosely on a never-aired cartoon series. Eventually McFarlane Toys made a Hicks figure, but fans wanted more realism and accuracy in its Colonial Marines, and NECA is delivering in 2013 with Hicks (Michael Biehn) and Hudson (Bill Paxton) action figures. Oh, and new versions of the creatures.

The marines have exceptional detail and tons of articulation, while the xenomorphs have brown or blue exoskeletons plus different heads... like an exploding head, which is definitely a new detail to this line. (Sure, we had the Kenner Scorpion Alien with the exploding torso, but with not nearly as much splatter.) The signs at the show teased Marine vs. Warriors 2-packs, although so far we've seen Hicks, Hudson, and the Warrior figures solicited as single, individually-packaged releases. As each Marine was said to have alternate sculpted heads on the horizon, maybe this is where they will show up? No other marines were confirmed, nor was Ripley, whose likeness is said to not be included in pretty much any movie license ever these days.

You'll note that the figures are in a stunning diorama modeled after the sets of the film. This is just for the show, and so far as I know there are no plans to produce it for sale.
