New York's American International Toy Fair February 10, 2013
Back to the Future! One of the most beloved sci-fi comedies of the 1980s (and that's saying something), Back to the Future has a slow trickle of products released each year. Because Mattel won't let anyone else put their logo on a Hoverboard, because likeness rights from the movie's stars are quite expensive on top of the actual license, and because there's a small market for this stuff, new releases are rare. Thankfully, they're also pretty cool with Ice Cube Trays and a Mr. Fusion Prop Replica being two of this year's star attractions. (And we have video, keep scrolling down.)

The DeLorean Replicas are pretty hot stuff still, with the Time Machine being available in multiple flavors. My very biased opinion is that the Entertainment Earth Exclusive BTTF2 Time Machine is best, as it features hover conversion wheels, a Mr. Fusion, and a barcode license plate from that far-off distant year of 2015.

Other props like Marty Jr.'s futuristic color-changing hat were on display, and the video demos that quite nicely. I'm impressed! It's an older item, sure, but I don't think I saw one up-close and personal before Toy Fair 2013.
