It's exceedingly rare that someone surprises me with a toy I didn't know about, mostly because I get out looking for stuff and read a lot. I had no idea Sonic Drive-Ins, my go-to for sugary drinkables that are bad for me, had a Mario & Luigi Paper Jam kid meal promotion with this Mario until my wife brought me one. She also got me a sweel Teen Titans Go! Beast Boy T-Rex. (I gotta review that one still.)
The figure is free with a small burger or chicken strips or whatever, and you can get tater tots and a tiny soda. The chain is not really known for its toy promotions, but it has had quite a few - some licensed, some not. Mario here stands about 3-inches tall and is basically a cookie cutter, in the sense that it's a three-dimensional outline. The figure is a clear red box with a pull-back motor and stickers on either side.
There is minimal sculpted detail - and by that, I mean basically nothing - but you can launch it at a paper Bowser target which they had the courtesy to include. Hey, it's something.
I'd go into more detail but there's really not much else to talk about here. It's a small figure at a fast food eatery and mostly I'm just writing this to prove to you that it exists. If you want to eat something and also want a Nintendo toy for the next week or three, well, go get this. Or some other thing. I don't know what they have.
