There are multiple, very similar versions of the Street Wiener to be had. We got an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile a long time ago, and this is more or less a more fanciful take on a frankfurter as transportation. It's a bit zippier, more colorful, and also royalty-free. The great Ryu Asada and Neal Smith worked on this one, so says the Hot Wheels Wiki, and who am I to argue with them?

The prequel to the Gotta Go, before the food comes out it must go in. The four green wheels with white detailing transport what looks like a paper tray body carrying a bun, carrying a hot dog, complete with a seat. Its front grille is a spatula, and on the back you've got a plastic trunk that opens. It's shaped like a grill.

It seems almost silly to write about this toy in any detail - to do so basically ruins the joke - but you can see a tiny seat, some ketchup and mustard detailing, plus some tip-top fast food red-and-white art on the sides. The painting is quite crisp, and more or less replicates the kind of "plate" you might get at a number of old-school roadside fast food joints. Or maybe those are out of vogue - hot dog joints seem to be on the decline in suburbia, but you'll still find some here and there. (Have you tried Korean corn dogs yet? Give one a shot.)

A number of other varieties exist, with different colors of wheels, alternate condiments, and unique "tray" decoration. They're all good for different reasons, and I don't know that one is any better than the next unless you prefer a certain kind of wheel or sausage. The important thing is this car is pretty new, fairly cheap, and probably in a big blue bin in a Walmart or grocery store within driving distance of your home or office. I can't make your day better, I can't make your kids call, and I can't change the speed of the rotation of the Earth... but I can say your day will be statistically hundreds of thousands of times better if you buy this goofy toy car instead of a lottery ticket. It's probably never going to be worth anything, I doubt anyone is going to clamor for it down the road, but there are taco cars, there's a Big Banana Car [FOTD #2,838], there are food trucks. It serves the purpose of a toy - you will be amused briefly, and hopefully, you will enjoy it for years (or hours) to come.
