New Old Devo Live Album Coming This Month

  A seemingly import only album is coming from Futurismo - so it's expensive. Beautiful Mutants, set your clocks to DEVOTIME! announces a previously unreleased, pre-debut LP live recording from 1977 called "Miracle Witness Hour."
Current pre-order listings on Amazon have the CD at $33 and the LP at $61. It seems to be a UK import, so either grit your teeth and pray for a cheaper US release or pony up. I'm going to have to think this one over. Reviews are already starting to surface and they're positive.

Here's a pretty good one. Playmates Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Chief Miles O'Brien Action Figure is an action figure from 20 years ago, based on the best of the Star Treks. It's not perfect, but for 1994 it was the best you could get of pretty much any action figure line and was roughly 10 years ahead of what Hasbro was doing with Star Wars. Playmobil Museum, 2015 News

  Via the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands: 'The Milkmaid' Playmobil is up for grabs for 4.95 in funny money, also known as the Euro. Shipping to the USA is also surprisingly reasonable. I'll endeavor to review it here and have it hang out with my Albrecht Durer.
Of greater significance is the 2015 German catalog with some new themes and a new entry into the dubiously culturally appropriate specials line. I'm in. The Asia Dragon line is out at Toys R Us in the USA, and vacation/campers are pretty ignorable - but there does appear to be a functioning gondola which I'll probably need to buy. Also, this.

Ron Gilbert's New Maniac Mansion-Ish Game Funded on Kickstarter

 Via Kickstarter: Thimbleweed Park: A New Classic Point & Click Adventure! Ron Gilbert made a new game that's sort of like the Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island titles from Lucasfilm Games, but it's a new thing. A new, intentionally old-looking thing with appropriately 1980s graphics as those continue to be in vogue this season.
It's already supported, and $20 gets you a digital download if you're so inclined. Boxed copies, shirts, .pdf art books, and other stuff are available if you shell out more. A full-voice-acting stretch goal is also up for $650,000. The game's ETA is June 2016, which seems about right.

 This week's Wii U offerings: Thomas Was Alone, Shiny The Firefly, Heptrix, and GetClose: A Game for RIVALS. Also check your stores for cheap games - Walmart has Mario Kart 8 for $35, Amazon claims to have a deal on it at some point today. Oh, and new Hyrule Warriors DLC.
The Wii U Virtual Console has Mario Pinball Land, a $6.99 port of the GameBoy Advance game. For $4.99, you can also get Mighty Final Fight, an NES Capcom brawler based on the arcade game series, only chunkier.
