One of the early successes from Kickstart, Shovel Knight is an NES-style game which has graced nearly every modern platform except for mobile. If it has buttons, you can probably play it there. Since it kicked off in 2013, we've had releases and updates as we went - the next big one is The Shovel Knight Finale! Treasure Trove Physical Version! Free DLC, and physical versions for Switch and PS4, and Amiibo, will all be out April 9, 2019. The digital game is $24.99, but the Switch cart is $39.99. The Amiibo will also drop at that time.
In addition to King of Cards, "Shovel Knight Showdown" is a 4-player battle game included as well - so you get a lot of stuff. It took a long time to deliver everything, but I've bought the game on 3DS and Wii U so far and I'm not discounting buying it again on Switch after a price drop. Since nobody seems to be stocking a lot of Amiibo figures now that Toys R Us is gone, I went ahead and pre-ordered the set.

New this year! The Onell Design Glyos Mechabon Gendrone Revolution is a new mold from July, but you'll have a crack at it in new colors on Thursday this week at the Onell Design shop. So read on, and come back tomorrow for more!
Kikcstarter: Amazing Heroes Savage Dragon, Madman, More
Via Kickstarter: Amazing Heroes: 1/18 scale Super Hero Action Figures! Amazing Heroes previously had a pretty good line which was in line with the old Mattel Secret Wars style, and this seems to be closer to the modern ideal of 3 3/4-inch Hasbro figures single elbows, Joe-ish hip joints, and that sort of action. Each one is $20, 12 characters are available now, and it could go as high as 20 characters. With 19 days to go, it's about 20% pledged.

Via Bandcamp: Kinski's New Album "Accustomed to Your Face" is coming in October. It sounds pretty good from the tracks released thus far - you probably haven't heard previous efforts like "Alpine Static" or "Cosy Moments," but you can go pick those up. Your local record store probably has "7 (or 8)" and "Cosy Moments" right now.

Most exciting of all may be a Mega Man 11 playable demo - which I got, tried, and reminded me that these games can be hard.
Via Hasbro's YouTube channel, it's the first two episodes of Transformers: Cyberverse. This new show has Bumblebee relearning Cybertronian from Windblade, after the yellow Autobot loses his memory somehow. The storyline seems to be a pastiche of recent series through a G1-influenced filter, and we saw some clips of Bumblebee watching the rise of Megatron at Comic-Con. The Bolder Media show is notable in that the entirety of voice talent seems to be people you've never heard of before.
Windblade and Bumblebee fight Decepticon jets, which are indeed called seekers on-screen.

Review: BanDai Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog The Drageen Action Figure
Something new every day-- unless it's old! Our exciting Figure of the Day continues for you lucky people! Is there anything we won't cover in this column? Probably not!
20 years old! The BanDai Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog The Drageen Action Figure was something I found at Kay-Bee back in the day, when action figure lines were plentiful and closeouts were cheap. We don't get as many experimental lines today, so a Sentai show made in/for Europe based on Irish folklore is certainly a notable historical footnote. So read on, and come back tomorrow for more!

Xbox fans, it's time to try Fossil Hunters. Microsoft says:

Also available: Time Carnage, Pinball FX3 Ð Star Wars Pinball: Season 2 Bundle, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Construction Simulator 2, and ADIOS Amigos. And a lot more, including pre-orders.
This week's batch of titles on the eShop: ACA NEOGEO NINJA COMMANDO, Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, Danger Mouse: The Danger Games, Defunct, Doughlings: Arcade, Monkey King: Master of the Clouds, and The Mahjong Huntress. And many, many more.
At retail: Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna - The Golden Country, Scribblenauts Mega Pack, and Labyrinth Of Refrain: Coven Of Dusk.
These are hardly the most exciting announcements of the day, as a new Nintendo Direct showcased things like NES JoyCons for your Switch, a third Luigi's Mansion game, several PlayStation-era Final Fantasy ports, and other things that make me happy to have a Switch on my desk. It's right under the monitor on which I'm typing this paragraph right now.
Conan Pilot on YouTube, All Episodes Coming Next Year
In a move sure to please fans of The Brown Dandy, Space Whore, and various Bollywood productions, it was announced that Conan will be putting his entire run of episodes online by this time next year. That's a lot of episodes, and a lot of things that were quoted at you out of context that you can now see. Isn't that right, Cactus Chef playing Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire"?
The very first episode is up for watching now, and the future looks bright provided legal entanglements don't cause the archive's fate to be held up in front of the Potato Judge.
This is the first new figure under the brand name in at least two years, a redeco of a former Toys R Us exclusive. It will be $6, and I have to get one somehow.
In a move very much of the present, rather than deal with strange scheduling or pre-empted entertainment Hasbro has given its latest to YouTube. You can watch Allspark right now.
Windblade, screaming, and Optimus Prime await you. Also Grimlock without a face mask, which is unsettling. Also Soundwave sounds like a Borg collective on Voyager.

Via Bandcamp: Neil Hamburger is... Still Dwelling on Drag City Records. Digital, cassette, vinyl, and CD are available on or about November 15. This is a music release - it does not appear that there are stand-up comedy tracks on here. It's all showbiz, folks.
Also, ATO Records sent out an email blast indicating a number of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard CD and LP reissues are incoming - November 2, no pricing or specifics beyond new art and new vinyl colors. Those albums are: 12 Bar Bruise, Eyes Like The Sky, Float Along Ð Fill Your Lungs, Oddments, and WilloughbyÕs Beach.

Check your grocery stores and Walmarts for series 11! The Fisher-Price Imaginext Series 11 Collectible Figures Triple Threat Snake is an exciting, weird tribute to one of the greatest figural game lines of the 1980s. Walmart stopped carrying the assortment before series 11 shipped to many locations, so get hunting. So read on, and come back tomorrow for more!

Via Hasbro's YouTube channel, it's the fourth episode of Transformers: Cyberverse. Grimlock's in this one, and so is Optimus Prime. It's time to take "The Journey."
And more, presumably, I haven't been able to watch it because I'm doing this from an airport.

New! The Outer Space Men Astrodite Action Figure debuted at a Toy Fair-adjacent party five years ago, and now she's really out and in hands. So read on, and come back tomorrow for more!
Via a new trailer, the Bumblebee Movie dropped some science. It turns out there are scenes on Cybertron that either repurpose or reimagine vaguely G1 designs used for the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron games in the movie, on the big screen.
This is a first, but not wholly unprecedented as the return of old toys for new purposes or merging movie with another continuity have happened before. Armada used some 1980s character models for "ancient Autobots," and the IDW comics is fond of bringing in characters from disparate corners of the multiverse into G1 to fill out roles for new characters. This sort of thing drives interest in some older toys and reorganizations on fan shelving.
Via the Outer Space Men News blog: New Outer Space Men Vehicles Coming. The official Instagram feed declared plans for 12-inch scale vehicles for the large Sofubi figure line, which is reportedly starting to ship out from their HQ. That seems utterly mad, given rising costs and the amount of space it might take, but it's certainly ambitious. For a figure line to continue after five decades with a small but dedicated collector base, it doesn't seem too far out of line - but it might be a step too far for people with toy collections beyond this particular brand. I look forward to seeing the results.

Oh No! It's Devo reissued. I still see sealed copies of the original pressings at record stores, but now there's a Total Devo 30th Anniversary Album on CD and LP in various colors from Futurismo, who did a lot of the other special latter-day album reissues and collections. It ain't cheap at $47 for vinyl or $25 for CD.
