  Via Takara-Tomy: Seacons. Tentakil and Overbite look pretty great, especially the weirdness that is Tentakil. I appreciate that they didn't try to modernize or fix the comical creature mode.
Hasbro Pulse will undoubtedly have these up for sale this week or next week after Unicron gobbles up the oxygen in the room for the weekend.

Action Figure of the Month - Year 2

  Via Toy Pizza: AFOTM 2020 Enrollment Pre-Order. It's $240 for 1 year, $30 for 1 month, and 40% funded as I write this. Last time it was a Kickstarter, this time it is merely crowdfunded. (This is probably good for more and better developments for the customer.)
I didn't get it last year, but I did order a number of figures from them and missed a few that I wish I could have got. The 3 3/4-inch Glyos-compatible line seems like a great modern analogue to Adventure People with very weird and very normal humanoid toy figures in various shapes and colors. Previews include a muscle man, a masked maniac, a caveman hunter, and a sort of a clown robot that I can only describe as completely necessary.

...I'm not saying there may be free gifts involved, or not, you'll have to go and find out. And so will I. A limited quantity were brought, but that's OK, because a limited number of you are planning to buy them I assume - the rest should check out Entertainment Earth online for when they may show up.

Analogue Pocket Supports GameBoy, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket

  Via Analogue: Meet Analogue PocketTM.
It's $199, and a dock for your HDTV will be sold separately. It plays all the GameBoy, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance games - but does not specify how it'll handle Super GameBoy enhancements - and promises future adapters for Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, and Atari Lynx. (What, no Turbo Express?) It's also worth noting that promised adapters for the Mega Sg - specifically Game Gear and game cards - have yet to materialize. There don't appear to be any link cable ports either - which could make trading Pokemon and using your GameBoy Camera printer a bit harder.
A dockable portable with a rechargeable battery and possible compatibility to your HDTV (and SDTV if you buy that adapter too) is probably worth your while. You can use USB controllers or 8BitDo Bluetooth controllers with it, too. Given the high price of modded systems these days, this is probably worth the asking price. A backlight-modded GameBoy Advance with a rechargeable battery is going to set you back close to $200 these days.
Of course, it isn't out yet. There were a few previous GameBoy clones that didn't make it out - like Retro-Bit's Super Retro Boy or Hyperkin's Ultra GameBoy. Kongfeng's GB Boy and GB Boy Colour did, though, and aren't bad for the asking price.

Nintendo Gets New Game - Project Blue
|
|
  Via Kickstarter: Project Blue, a new NES game, has already been funded. That was fast - cartridges are due around February 2020, and you've got about a month to pledge if you want one. The game is listed as having been completed - this is just for manufacturing cartridges.
Unlike Micro Mages which tried to fit as much game as possible in the amount of memory used by early NES games, Project Blue boasts more space for graphics and sound - with 25 unlooped minutes of music. That sounds nifty, and the game doesn't look half bad either. Give it a peek.

Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Kickstarter Too

  Via Kickstarter: Demons Of Asteborg for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis. Unlike a lot of other Kickstarters, the game isn't done yet, nor is it funded, and it's due around August of 2020.
It looks like the programmers love Ghouls n' Ghosts, Castlevania, and Space Harrier - the music sounds great and looks pretty nice. Check it out, it ends on Friday.
